WHO ARE WE?
We're a group of dedicated high school schoolers looking to change our community. How?
At TKT, we have three goals:
1. Introduce kids to the sport of tennis, a better lifestyle, and great exercise.
2. Foster a sense of community by providing kids with an opportunity to make new friends.
3. Teach the vital principles of hard work and determination.

Thus, our weekly lessons are always accessible, fun, and free. No matter what age or skill level, we will always endeavor to help you grow. We hope you enjoy the journey!

MICHAEL HAN

Hey! My name is Michael Han and I am a senior on Obra D. Tompkins High School Varsity Tennis Team. I have been playing tennis since I was 11 and am currently a USTA 18s Championship Level Player. I founded TKT with my friends in 2016 for one purpose: to give the kids of the Katy area a fun and adventurous first start in tennis! Through this program, we hope to develop life-long habits and skills that will a promote a healthy and active life, while also providing quality lessons for free. We hope to see you there!

Hey there! My name is Pragnya Guduru and I’m currently a senior on the Tompkins Varsity Tennis Team! I started playing tennis in 6th grade and it’s been a huge part of who I am ever since! Through TKT we’re able to not only share the love and passion we have for this amazing sport, but hopefully help others find it too! Can’t wait to cause a racquet ;)

Jeffrey Dai is a USTA 16s Championship level player and on the Tompkins Varsity Tennis Team. He is a senior and loves to work with kids, both as a teacher and as a friend. He has played tennis since he was 14 years old and can't wait for more!

My name is Justin Xu and I’m a sophomore at Tompkins High School. I started tennis in the fourth grade and it has been a huge part of my life ever since. I’m currently on the Varsity Tennis Team and a USTA 16’s Champ. Hope to see you soon!

Hi, my name is Austin Xu and I’m a sophomore at Tompkins high school and also a member of the varsity team. I have been playing since 4th grade and I am a USTA 16s super champ player. I joined this program to provide kids with a fun learning experience to learn the game of tennis.
AKASH MELACHURI

Akash Melachuri started tennis at age 9 and has played for 8 years. He has ranked number 7 in Louisiana and has played with coaches such as Aubri Du Plooy, Hassan Abbas, and currently Adrian Hasker as well as training in the Netherlands for two summers. After moving to Texas, he is a USTA 16s Champ player and on the Tompkins High School Varsity Team.
